Job Vacancy: Technician and Maintenance Job Location: Vanuatu Technician and Maintenance Qualifications: At least 3 years of relevant work experience in technical maintenance, equipment servicing, or a related field. Proficient in English communication. Able to provide employment documents and credentials. Willing to work overseas in Vanuatu. Knowledge of equipment inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance. Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Able to follow technical instructions and workplace safety procedures. Responsible, organized, and capable of working independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities: Inspect equipment, machinery, and facility systems to identify maintenance requirements. Perform routine preventive maintenance and servicing according to established schedules. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or operational faults within the scope of the technician’s qualifications. Repair or replace defective components and worn-out parts as necessary. Use appropriate tools, testing instruments, and maintenance equipment. Monitor equipment performance and report recurring faults or potential breakdowns. Maintain records of inspections, repairs, maintenance activities, and replacement parts. Coordinate with supervisors and other personnel regarding maintenance priorities and repair schedules. Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are kept clean, organized, and safe. Follow workplace safety procedures and applicable maintenance standards. Assist with equipment installation, testing, and commissioning when required. Report major technical issues that require specialist assistance or additional resources.
