Career Opportunity in Australia!Job Vacancy: UPHOLSTERER Company/Employer: Macati Recruitment Pty Ltd / Improvision Design DMW Registration/Accreditation No.: 10438423 Job Location: AustraliaUPHOLSTERERQualifications:Minimum 5 years relevant experience as an Upholsterer, Upholstery Craftsman, Furniture Upholsterer, or similar role in furniture manufacturing or upholstery production environments.Strong knowledge of furniture construction, upholstery methods, stuffing and covering processes, and frame preparation techniques.Experience working with fabric, leather, vinyl, foam, and upholstery accessories.Experience operating industrial sewing machines, foam cutting machinery, spray adhesive equipment, staple guns, nail guns, and upholstery hand tools.Ability to perform furniture stripping, frame preparation, cutting, sewing, foam gluing, stapling, fitting, and finishing processes.Experience in pattern matching, material alignment, and upholstery finishing techniques.Good understanding of upholstery materials, hidden fixings, piping, zips, gimp braid, touch tapes, and upholstery accessories.Ability to read and follow written and verbal production instructions accurately.Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.Ability to work independently and within a team production environment.Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures and safe equipment operation.Must have completed at least a 1-year vocational course or relevant upholstery/furniture trade training.Valid Driver’s License is an advantage.Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.Ability to meet production deadlines and maintain quality standards under pressure.Responsibilities:Perform upholstery work on residential, commercial, and custom furniture products in accordance with company quality standards and production requirements.Read and interpret work instructions, production drawings, measurements, and upholstery specifications.Strip, repair, and prepare furniture frames for upholstery processes.Cut, measure, and fit foam, fabric, leather, vinyl, and other upholstery materials accurately.Operate industrial sewing machines, foam cutting machinery, spray adhesive equipment, staple guns, nail guns, and upholstery hand tools safely and efficientlyPerform sewing, stapling, foam gluing, fitting, finishing, and assembly processes.Conduct pattern matching and material alignment for upholstered products and custom furniture applications.Use measuring tools, rulers, and tape measures to ensure accuracy and product consistency.Install upholstery accessories including piping, zips, sliders, eyelets, touch tapes, press studs, and hidden fixings.Ensure all finished products meet required quality standards, production specifications, and customer expectations.Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and safe handling of workshop equipment and tools.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following company safety procedures and workshop protocols.Work collaboratively with production teams, supervisors, and other trades to achieve production targets and delivery schedules.Identify and report defects, material issues, equipment faults, and safety hazards promptly.Maintain high standards of workmanship, attention to detail, and housekeeping throughout all stages of production.Requirements:Detailed RESUMECertificate of EmploymentCandidate must have ready passport☑ NO TRADETEST FEES, ☑ NO MEDICAL FEES, ☑ NO PLACEMENT FEE, ☑ NO PROCESSING FEE, ☑ NO SALARY DEDUCTION, 💯% NO FEES TO BE COLLECTEDPlease report to our office for preliminary interview.
