Job Summary:
This position provides essential non-medical support, companionship, and daily living assistance to clients over the weekend, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignified independence in their home environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing culturally attuned companionship, emotional support, and engaged social interaction
- Assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Preparing nutritious meals and snacks in accordance with dietary guidelines and cultural preferences
- Performing light housekeeping duties such as tidying living areas, washing dishes, and handling laundry
- Administering timely medication reminders and tracking client hydration and nutrition intake
- Assisting with client mobility, transfers, and fall-prevention measures
- Transporting or accompanying clients to appointments, errands, or recreational outings as needed
- Monitoring, documenting, and reporting any noticeable changes in client health, mood, or behavior to supervisors and family members
