Career Opportunity in Malta!Job Vacancy: Furniture & Kitchen Installer Employer/Company: JOINWELL FXB Job Location: MaltaFurniture & Kitchen InstallerQualifications:Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.At least High School Graduate.Previous experience as a Furniture Installer, Kitchen Installer, Cabinet Installer, Joiner, Carpenter, or similar position is preferred.Proven experience installing kitchen cabinets, cupboards, wardrobes, shelves, drawers, and furniture.Ability to read and interpret furniture plans, kitchen layouts, drawings, measurements, and installation instructions.Skilled in measuring, marking, cutting, drilling, leveling, aligning, and securing furniture components.Experience installing countertops, handles, hinges, drawer runners, rails, brackets, and other furniture hardware.Ability to adjust doors, drawers, hinges, runners, and cabinet components for proper operation.Good knowledge of furniture assembly and installation techniques.Ability to use hand tools, power tools, drills, saws, levels, measuring tools, and other installation equipment.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Good problem-solving skills, particularly when dealing with uneven walls, floors, corners, and site conditions.Ability to work independently and as part of an installation team.Physically fit and capable of lifting, carrying, positioning, and installing furniture components.Comfortable working at different residential and commercial project sites.Strong awareness of workplace health and safety requirements.Reliable, hardworking, responsible, and customer-oriented.Good communication and teamwork skills.Must have a valid passport.Must be able to speak and communicate in English.Responsibilities:Install and assemble kitchen cabinets, cupboards, shelves, drawers, wardrobes, and other furniture.Read and interpret furniture plans, kitchen layouts, technical drawings, measurements, and installation instructions.Measure installation areas accurately before beginning installation work.Mark walls, floors, and other surfaces according to approved measurements and layouts.Check installation areas for level, alignment, dimensions, and potential obstructions.Assemble cabinets, drawers, doors, shelving, and other furniture components.Cut, drill, trim, and modify furniture components when necessary to achieve proper fit.Level, align, position, and securely fix cabinets and furniture units.Install wall-mounted and floor-mounted kitchen cabinets according to specifications.Install countertops, handles, hinges, drawer runners, rails, brackets, supports, and other hardware.Install and adjust cabinet doors, drawers, shelves, and other moving components.Ensure doors and drawers open, close, slide, and operate properly.Make necessary adjustments to hinges, runners, doors, drawers, and cabinet alignment.Install furniture and kitchen components according to manufacturer and project requirements.Ensure cabinets, countertops, shelves, and other installed components are properly secured and stable.Perform accurate cutting and fitting around walls, corners, plumbing, electrical outlets, appliances, and other site conditions.Use appropriate hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, drills, saws, levels, and installation equipment safely.Inspect completed installations for alignment, stability, appearance, and workmanship.Correct installation defects, gaps, misalignment, and other fitting issues.Protect finished furniture, countertops, walls, floors, and other surfaces from damage during installation.Coordinate with carpenters, furniture makers, contractors, designers, supervisors, and other workers on installation requirements.Confirm that installed furniture matches approved plans, drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the installation process.Safely handle, transport, and position cabinets, furniture panels, countertops, and other materials.Follow workplace health and safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment.Maintain installation tools and equipment in good working condition.Report damaged materials, missing components, site problems, or installation issues to the supervisor.Complete installation work within required project schedules and quality standards.Perform other furniture, kitchen, and installation duties assigned by management.Requirements:Update and detailed Resume in Word format or PDF with a pictureEmployment CertificateTraining CertificatePassport CopyVisit our office for an initial interview: Principalia Management & Personnel Consultants, Inc.
