This professional role-playing position supports military training exercises at Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH) by depicting specific cultural, linguistic, and indigenous roles. The selected candidate will utilize Tagalog/Filipino language proficiency and cultural expertise to create highly realistic, immersive environments, assisting military personnel in developing communication, cultural awareness, and tactical readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portray designated characters, local citizens, or key community leaders within simulated foreign environments.
- Communicate fluently in Tagalog or Filipino, adjusting language complexity and tone to fit the specific training scenario.
- Interact dynamically with military trainees to test their communication, negotiation, and situational awareness skills.
- Maintain character consistency, including appropriate cultural behaviors, gestures, and attire, throughout the training exercises.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, military base security protocols, and exercise guidelines at the Waimanalo location.
