Senior Educator

An exciting opportunity is available for a qualified Senior Educator to join a Goodstart Early Learning centre. The service is led by a dedicated Centre Director who has been with the organization since 2004, ensuring a stable and supportive leadership environment. The centre is highly accessible, featuring ample parking at the front of the building. To best support the diverse needs of the local community, fluency or cultural familiarity in Punjabi, French, Filipino, Korean, and Japanese is highly regarded.

Common responsibilities of a Senior Educator include:

- Designing and implementing high-quality, play-based educational programs aligned with early childhood curricula.
- Leading, mentoring, and supporting assistant educators and co-workers within the room.
- Observing, documenting, and evaluating children's development, learning, and well-being.
- Building and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with families and communities.
- Ensuring strict adherence to national quality standards, education regulations, and health and safety policies.
- Creating an inclusive, welcoming, and safe learning environment that respects diverse cultural backgrounds.
