Job Vacancy: Security Systems Installation Engineer / Fire Extinguishing System Technician Employer/Company: Flex Franchise 5 BV / Flexible Human Services Job Location: Netherlands Flexible Human Services is seeking a qualified Security Systems Installation Engineer / Fire Extinguishing System Technician to perform maintenance and safety inspections of fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, and first-aid kits. The successful candidate will work independently at various client locations, provide safety advice, maintain accurate digital service records, and help ensure that fire-safety equipment complies with applicable laws and regulations. Security Systems Installation Engineer / Fire Extinguishing System Technician Qualifications: Previous experience as an REOB Technician or Fire Extinguishing Systems Technician. VCA safety certification, or willingness to obtain the required certification. Independent, responsible, and customer-focused approach to work. Valid Category B driving licence. Genuine interest in fire safety, building safety, and the maintenance of safety equipment. Willingness to learn Dutch. Good command of spoken and written Dutch, as specified in the employer’s requirements. Ability to communicate professionally with customers and document maintenance work accurately. Responsibilities: Carry out independent inspection and maintenance of portable fire extinguishers. Inspect emergency lighting systems and first-aid kits to ensure they are properly maintained. Advise customers on fire safety, equipment maintenance, and potential safety improvements. Record completed maintenance work, inspection results, and service activities using digital systems. Identify defects, areas for improvement, and additional maintenance requirements. Visit and provide services to a variety of customers across the Randstad region. Work on assignments involving non-residential buildings, retail establishments, and residential properties. Ensure that all work complies with applicable safety standards, procedures, and regulations. Maintain professional customer relationships and work independently while coordinating with the company when necessary. Continue developing technical knowledge and learn Dutch as required for the role.
