Job Location: Singapore COOK Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree, diploma, or certificate in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field is an advantage. Must have a minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience as a Cook. Must have knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations. Must be familiar with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards. Must be able to prepare dishes according to recipes and established quality standards. Must be capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Must possess good teamwork, communication, and time management skills. Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Must demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to food quality and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: Prepare and cook meals according to recipes, menu specifications, and established quality standards. Perform food preparation tasks, including washing, cutting, chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients. Ensure the proper handling, storage, and preservation of food ingredients. Monitor food quality, taste, freshness, and presentation before serving. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, workstations, cooking equipment, and utensils. Follow food safety procedures and hygiene standards to prevent contamination. Monitor ingredient stocks and inform supervisors when supplies need replenishment. Minimize food waste through proper ingredient handling, storage, and portion control. Operate kitchen equipment and cooking appliances safely and correctly. Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and service of orders. Follow instructions from the head chef or kitchen supervisor. Assist in menu preparation and other kitchen duties as assigned. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times.
