Job Vacancy: SHIFT SUPERVISOR (Power Plant Section) Employer/Company: Al Yamama Cement Factory Job Location: Saudi Arabia SHIFT SUPERVISOR (Power Plant Section) Qualifications: Relevant experience in power plant operations, industrial utilities, or a similar technical environment. Knowledge of power generation equipment and industrial plant operating procedures. Ability to monitor operating parameters, interpret equipment readings, and respond to abnormal conditions. Experience coordinating shift personnel and communicating with maintenance and operations teams. Knowledge of preventive maintenance coordination and equipment safety procedures. Ability to prepare operational reports, shift logs, and equipment status records. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills. Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures. Experience in a cement factory or industrial power plant is an advantage. Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate daily power plant operations during the assigned shift. Monitor plant equipment and operating parameters to help maintain safe, stable, and efficient operations. Ensure that power generation equipment and associated systems operate according to established procedures and operating limits. Coordinate with control room operators, field operators, and maintenance teams to address equipment abnormalities. Identify operational problems, respond to alarms, and implement appropriate corrective actions according to approved procedures. Conduct shift inspections and ensure that equipment conditions and operational issues are properly reported. Coordinate equipment isolation, maintenance activities, and return-to-service procedures in accordance with plant safety requirements. Ensure compliance with operating procedures, occupational health and safety standards, and applicable environmental requirements. Maintain accurate shift logs, operational reports, equipment readings, and incident records. Conduct shift handovers to communicate equipment status, ongoing maintenance, operational concerns, and pending activities. Support troubleshooting and incident investigations to help prevent recurring operational problems. Guide and coordinate assigned personnel to ensure that shift duties are completed safely and efficiently.
