The successful candidate will be responsible for following engineering drawings, technical specifications, and production schedules while maintaining high standards of accuracy, quality, safety, and productivity.Candidates with experience operating Trumpf, Bystronic, Amada, Mitsubishi, or similar CNC laser cutting machines, along with strong knowledge of engineering drawings, cutting parameters, precision measurement, and machine troubleshooting, are encouraged to apply.Job DescriptionThe Laser Operator is responsible for setting up and operating CNC laser cutting machines to produce metal components in accordance with engineering drawings, technical specifications, and production schedules. The role ensures precision, quality, safety, and efficient machine operation while minimizing material waste.Laser OperatorQualifications:Technical Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field is preferred.Minimum 3 years of experience operating CNC laser cutting machines in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment.Experience operating Trumpf, Bystronic, Amada, Mitsubishi, or equivalent laser cutting machines is an advantage.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and production documents.Knowledge of CNC machine operations, cutting parameters, and material handling.Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.Good communication and teamwork skills.Good command of spoken and written English.Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards.Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures and proper machine operation.Responsibilities:Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines according to production requirements.Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and production documents.Select appropriate cutting parameters based on material type, thickness, and production requirements.Load and position metal sheets and other materials correctly on the machine.Monitor laser cutting operations and adjust machine settings when necessary.Inspect finished components to ensure dimensional accuracy and product quality.Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.Identify and report cutting defects, machine issues, or production problems.Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.Minimize material waste through proper machine setup, nesting, and material handling.Maintain production records and follow established production schedules.Ensure machines, tools, and work areas are clean and properly maintained.Follow workplace health and safety procedures and use required PPE.Coordinate with production, engineering, quality control, and maintenance teams.Meet production targets while maintaining required quality and safety standards.Perform other duties assigned by supervisors.Requirements:Detailed RESUMECertificate of Employment ( if available)Candidate must have ready passportWe are accepting walk-ins!
