Job Talent is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented **CNC Turner Operator** for an overseas placement in Belgium. The role entails independently programming, setting up, and operating CNC turning machines—specifically 2-axis lathes using Heidenhain Turn Plus or ISO controls—for small-batch and custom-machined components.

### **Key Responsibilities**
* **Programming & Setup:** Independently program, configure, and operate 2-axis CNC turning and milling machinery (primarily the Gildemeister CTX400 S2) using Heidenhain Turn Plus or ISO controls.
* **Custom & Batch Production:** Manage daily programming changes to fabricate high-precision, customized components and short production series (up to 100 units).
* **Technical Execution:** Interpret technical blueprints, engineering drawings, and machining specifications accurately to select proper tooling, feeds, speeds, and cut strategies.
* **Quality Assurance:** Monitor dimensional accuracy, surface finishes, and tight tolerances using standard precision measuring instruments.
* **Maintenance & Troubleshooting:** Diagnose operational faults, refine toolpaths/programs, and carry out routine machine and tool maintenance.
* **Safety & Compliance:** Adhere strictly to European workshop health, safety, and operational standards.

### **Candidate Qualifications**
* **Work Experience:** Minimum of 5 years of hands-on industrial machining experience, preferably within the automotive, chemical, pharmaceutical, nuclear, or electronics sectors.
* **Technical Competence:**
* Proven capability to independently program via Heidenhain Turn Plus or ISO controls.
* Demonstrated experience on 2-axis lathes (prior experience with Gildemeister CTX400 S2 is highly advantageous).
* Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Hypermill or TopSolid) is a strong plus.
* **Education:** Technical diploma or vocational graduate in CNC Machining, Mechanical Technology, Industrial Technology, or an equivalent discipline.
* **Skills:** Strong blueprint reading skills, high dimensional precision, and solid problem-solving abilities.
* **Language Proficiency:** Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
