Job Title: Resource Development Geologist
Position Overview:
The Resource Development Geologist leads subsurface evaluation, resource characterization, and the advancement of deposit models to support resource estimation and extraction planning. This role is instrumental in optimizing resource-to-reserve conversion through rigorous geologic data analysis, diamond drilling campaigns, and collaborative mine planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, coordinate, and supervise near-mine exploration and infill drilling programs.
- Log, sample, and interpret structural, lithological, alteration, and mineralogical data from drill core and cuttings.
- Develop, refine, and maintain detailed 3D implicit and explicit geological and structural models.
- Assist in mineral resource estimation, domaining, and classification in accordance with standard reporting codes.
- Implement and manage robust Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) protocols for drill-hole sampling and assay analysis.
- Collaborate with geotechnical, hydrogeological, and mining engineering teams to integrate geological interpretations into operational mine designs.
- Prepare technical documentation, resource reconciliation reports, and regulatory compliance disclosures.
