Position Overview:
We are seeking a professional, client-focused Banking Advisor to join our branch network in North York. In this role, you will deliver tailored financial advice and services to our diverse client base while bridging cultural and linguistic needs. This position requires active engagement with digital banking tools, including branch laptops and specialized software, to enhance the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized financial advice, product recommendations, and solutions tailored to individual client goals.
- Assist clients with daily banking transactions, account maintenance, cash management, and credit inquiries.
- Identify sales and referral opportunities for specialized financial products, including mortgages, investments, and commercial services.
- Educate clients on digital and self-service banking options to drive adoption of mobile and online platforms.
- Utilize provided corporate technology, including laptops and branch systems, to manage accounts, navigate customer data, and process requests securely.
- Resolve client issues and inquiries promptly while delivering exceptional, culturally competent customer service.
- Maintain strict adherence to all banking regulations, operational procedures, audit standards, and risk management policies.
Candidate Requirements:
- Fluency in English along with advanced proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Mandarin, Cantonese, Filipino, or Korean.
- Full availability and flexibility to work during all branch business operating hours, which may include evenings and weekends.
- Strong digital literacy and comfort using digital tools, corporate laptops, and financial applications.
- Demonstrated background in client service, relationship management, or retail financial services.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
