DMW (formerly POEA) Registration / Accreditation No. 10280720Job Location: New ZealandMECHANIC (AGRICULTURAL)Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience is required.Must be at least a high school graduate.Proven experience working with agricultural machinery and heavy farming equipment.Experience with John Deere, Massey Ferguson, Case, Ford Series, and Claas machinery is required.Strong understanding of hydraulic, electronic, and diesel mechanical systems.Skilled in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex machinery faults.Must hold a clean and valid driver’s license with the ability to travel locally for field service work.Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure.Strong problem-solving and mechanical troubleshooting skills.Good English communication skills.IELTS or PTE certification is an advantage.Physically fit and capable of performing field-based mechanical work.Responsibilities:Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair tractors and heavy agricultural machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.Use computerized diagnostic equipment and mechanical expertise to identify and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and diesel engine faults.Disassemble, repair, or replace defective components, including transmissions, brakes, steering assemblies, engines, and fuel systems.Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, including oil and filter changes, belt replacements, fluid checks, lubrication, and general servicing.Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance both in a workshop environment and on-site at farms through field service.Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic issues efficiently.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspections, maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.Communicate mechanical issues and required repairs clearly to farm operators and provide advice on preventive maintenance.Ensure all tools, diagnostic equipment, and machinery are used safely and maintained in good working condition.Follow workplace health and safety procedures and manufacturer specifications.Perform other mechanical and maintenance duties as assigned.Requirements:Valid PassportDetailed RESUMECertificate of EmploymentFor interested applicants you may directly submit your application to us thru walk-in.
