We are seeking a qualified Filipino Games Translation & Localization Specialist to deliver high-quality linguistic and cultural adaptation for written materials, marketing campaigns, and interactive content. The ideal candidate will ensure that all content, including new releases and promotional media, meets rigorous quality standards and resonates with the target audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate written materials with high linguistic precision, adapting new content releases, promotional copy, and in-game text from the source language into Filipino.
- Localize video game dialogue, story narratives, user interfaces, and technical documentation to align with local cultural nuances and industry standards.
- Perform linguistic quality assurance (LQA) and contextual testing to detect and correct formatting errors, mistranslations, and visual display issues.
- Develop, maintain, and update localization assets, including style guides, glossaries, and terminology databases.
- Collaborate with project managers, game developers, and marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of localized content across all media platforms.
- Review and edit third-party translations to enforce brand voice, quality control, and stylistic consistency.
