**Position Overview: Filipino Cultural Role Player**
The Filipino Cultural Role Player is responsible for supporting the Rotational Training Unit (RTU) by establishing a realistic Contemporary Operational Environment (COE). Through accurate cultural representation, this role exposes military personnel to realistic civilian interactions, local customs, and complex operational scenarios during training exercises. By depicting noncombatant civilians, key local figures, and specific cultural personas, role players enhance the realism of tactical simulations and foster cross-cultural competence.
**Key Responsibilities and Job Roles:**
- Replicate authentic Filipino social customs, cultural dynamics, and language nuances to create an immersive training environment.
- Portray diverse noncombatant roles, including local residents, municipal leaders, shopkeepers, and special scenario characters.
- Engage directly with military trainees to evaluate their communication skills, situational awareness, and cultural sensitivity.
- Follow scripted exercise parameters, dynamic scenario adjustments, and strict safety protocols set by training administrators.
- Support post-exercise debriefings by offering constructive feedback on cultural interactions and tactical approach.
