Common Responsibilities of a HomeCare Filipino Caregiver:
- Assisting clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Providing compassionate companionship, active listening, and cognitive engagement
- Planning and preparing nutritious, culturally appropriate meals according to dietary guidelines
- Performing light housekeeping duties, organizing living spaces, and ensuring a safe home environment
- Administering timely medication reminders and monitoring client wellness indicators
- Assisting with mobility, transfers, and physical exercises to maintain client strength and safety
- Coordinating transport and accompanying clients to medical appointments, social outings, and errands
- Communicating effectively with family members and clinical supervisors regarding client status and care plans
