We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and bilingual caregiver to provide high-quality, personalized in-home support for senior adult clients in the Plano and Allen areas. This position is ideal for individuals who can bridge linguistic and cultural gaps, as many of our clients specifically request caregivers who understand their language, values, and traditions to ensure a comfortable, respectful, and supportive living environment. Common Job Responsibilities:
- Providing meaningful companionship and engaging in culturally familiar conversations in Tagalog and English to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Preparing nutritious meals, with the ability to accommodate traditional dietary and culinary preferences when requested.
- Performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dusting, vacuuming, and maintaining a clean, safe living environment.
- Administering timely medication reminders and assisting with transport or accompaniment to medical appointments and errands.
- Supporting physical mobility, safe transfers, and fall-prevention strategies.
- Monitoring the client's overall health, mood, and behavior, and communicating any significant changes to family members and healthcare supervisors.
