Vacancy: Chief Officer
An opportunity is available for a qualified Chief Officer to join the newly built vessel, Global Fuji.
Vessel Specifications and Voyage Details:
- Vessel Name: Global Fuji
- Year Built: 2025
- DWT: 18,650
- Engine Type: MAN B&W / 6S60ME-C10.5-GI
- Joining Port and Date: Casablanca, on or about 1st July
- Trading Area: Worldwide sailing route
- Crew Composition: Ukrainian and East European senior officers, with Filipino junior officers and ratings
Key Responsibilities of a Chief Officer:
- Planning, supervising, and executing cargo loading, discharging, and ballast operations.
- Maintaining vessel stability, hull integrity, and overall deck safety.
- Managing deck department personnel, including daily work planning and training.
- Serving as the Ship Security Officer and ensuring compliance with international maritime safety and environmental regulations.
- Maintaining all lifesaving and firefighting appliances on board.
