Daniel Corpuz Chocolatier, an artisanal chocolate shop located in the heart of New York City’s Chinatown, is seeking a dedicated Pastry Cook to serve as a Chocolatier. Founded by Chef Daniel Corpuz, the boutique focuses on premier, handcrafted Filipino-American inspired chocolates and confections. This position offers a unique opportunity to play a vital role in a creative, culturally-focused pastry program.

Common job roles and responsibilities of a Chocolatier include:

- Handcrafting, molding, and decorating a diverse range of artisanal chocolates, bonbons, and confections.
- Tempering chocolate precisely using both manual techniques and specialized machinery.
- Preparing high-quality fillings, including ganaches, caramels, pralinés, and infusions.
- Maintaining rigorous standards of kitchen sanitation, food safety, and quality control.
- Operating, cleaning, and maintaining chocolate-making equipment and molds.
- Assisting in the development and execution of unique, culturally-inspired flavor profiles.
- Managing inventory, monitoring ingredient freshness, and packaging finished products for retail display.
- Consistently meeting daily production schedules to fulfill retail and custom orders.
