Common responsibilities of an Accounting Specialist include:

- Managing daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Reconciling bank statements, invoices, and financial discrepancies to ensure reporting accuracy.
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and tax filings.
- Processing employee expense reports and monitoring departmental budget compliance.
- Collaborating with internal and external auditors to provide necessary financial documentation.
