Position: Live-In Caregiver and Residential Household Support Manager
Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate, highly patient, and dedicated Live-In Caregiver and Household Support Manager to provide comprehensive personal care for an elderly mother while managing daily residential operations. Due to a primary language barrier, a fluent Filipino-speaking caregiver is required to ensure seamless communication, comfort, and emotional well-being. Private living accommodations will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with all essential activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Providing attentive companionship, conversation, and patient, respectful daily support
- Overseeing overall household operations to maintain a clean, secure, comfortable, and well-organized living environment
- Planning, cooking, and serving balanced, culturally preferred meals aligned with dietary restrictions
- Managing medication reminders, tracking schedules, and monitoring basic health indicators
- Coordinating medical visits, managing personal calendars, and arranging transportation to appointments
- Managing household inventory, running errands, and purchasing groceries and domestic supplies
- Conducting light housekeeping, laundry, and linens maintenance
- Supervising minor household repairs and coordinating with external service contractors as needed
- Providing consistent, clear updates to family members regarding health, wellness, and household matters
Requirements:
- Proven experience in private elder care and domestic household management
- Fluency in Tagalog/Filipino to facilitate effective, native-language communication
- Exceptional level of patience, empathy, reliability, and discretion
- Valid background checks, references, and eligibility to work in a live-in arrangement
