Position: Freelance English to Filipino Software Localization MT/LLM Evaluator
We are actively seeking qualified native Filipino linguists with extensive expertise in software localization, information technology translation, cloud computing, SaaS platforms, and enterprise technology to join our expanding freelance talent network. In this role, you will support large-scale enterprise technology initiatives by assessing, post-editing, and validating machine translation (MT) and large language model (LLM) outputs to ensure linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and technical precision.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Evaluating, scoring, and post-editing English to Filipino content generated by machine translation engines and large language models for software, SaaS, and cloud environments.
- Assessing translations for linguistic accuracy, fluency, tone, cultural appropriateness, and adherence to client-specific style guides and technical glossaries.
- Identifying and documenting linguistic errors, model hallucinations, bias, and context failures in model outputs.
- Providing structured, data-driven feedback, error categorization, and ranking to support the training, benchmarking, and fine-tuning of AI language models.
- Localizing and validating user interface (UI) strings, technical documentation, error messages, and enterprise software assets for the target audience.
- Collaborating with localization project managers and quality leads to maintain high quality standards across all project deliverables.
