About the Role:
An authentic Filipino restaurant is seeking a professional and dedicated Server to deliver exceptional hospitality to dining guests. The ideal candidate brings a background in food service or related hospitality roles, excels at cultivating guest rapport, and maintains high standards of service within an active, fast-paced restaurant setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and present dining menus.
- Explain traditional Filipino dishes, ingredients, and daily specials while answering guest questions and accommodating dietary preferences.
- Accurately record food and drink orders and communicate them efficiently to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Deliver orders promptly and ensure high presentation and quality standards.
- Check in regularly with guests to address additional requests and guarantee a positive dining experience.
- Prepare accurate guest checks, process cash and electronic payments, and manage the point-of-sale system.
- Clear, clean, and sanitize tables between seatings to ensure a clean and inviting dining room.
- Maintain stock at server stations and adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene protocols.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in food and beverage service, hospitality, or a related field.
- Proven ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with guests.
- Ability to thrive and multitask in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
