A premier installation firm is currently seeking qualified Filipino candidates to join its team as Part-Time Elevator Installers in Atlanta, Georgia. This role involves the assembly, installation, and testing of modern elevator systems while adhering to rigorous safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications to determine the precise layout of system equipment.
- Install and align elevator guide rails, hoistway doors, car frames, and counterweight assemblies.
- Assemble elevator cabs, platforms, and interior fixtures.
- Connect electrical wiring between control units, motors, indicators, and safety switches.
- Install and configure mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components, including motors, cables, pumps, and valves.
- Conduct rigorous operational and safety testing to verify proper door operation, speed regulation, and emergency braking systems.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical or electrical issues encountered during the installation phase.
- Ensure strict compliance with all local Georgia building codes, industry regulations, and occupational safety standards.
