JOB TITLE: Live-In Caregiver (Filipino Caregiver Preferred)
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Live-In Caregiver to join our team. In this role, you will reside in the client's home to provide comprehensive daily living assistance, ensuring their safety, comfort, and physical and emotional well-being. The ideal candidate will possess a warm demeanor, strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, personalized support.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 1 year of professional caregiving experience is strictly required.
- Availability and willingness to work as a full-time, live-in caregiver.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
COMMON ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
- Managing medication schedules and providing timely reminders.
- Planning and preparing nutritious, home-cooked meals tailored to the client's dietary needs.
- Performing light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning, laundry, dusting, and maintaining a sanitary living environment.
- Providing physical assistance with mobility, transferring from bed to wheelchair, and positioning to prevent injury.
- Offering consistent companionship, emotional support, and engaging the client in cognitive and social activities.
- Accompanying the client to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and social outings.
- Managing grocery shopping, running errands, and organizing household supplies.
- Monitoring the client’s physical and mental health status, and promptly communicating any changes to family members or healthcare professionals.
- Ensuring a safe home environment by identifying and mitigating fall hazards or other safety concerns.
